{"id":6108,"date":"2026-03-11T00:12:17","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sofleet.eu\/?post_type=temoignage&#038;p=6108"},"modified":"2026-03-11T00:16:40","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T10:16:40","slug":"sos-activeille-optimise-le-suivi-kilometrique","status":"publish","type":"temoignage","link":"https:\/\/www.sofleet.eu\/en\/temoignage\/sos-activeille-optimizes-mileage-tracking\/","title":{"rendered":"SOS Activeille optimizes mileage tracking"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The end of manual mileage readings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, mileage tracking at S\u00e9curit\u00e9 Ouest Services Activeille (SOS Activeille) relied on a manual system: <strong>weekly record and entry into an Excel spreadsheet<\/strong> or each month, sent by email, consolidated by the manager and then the accounting department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A time-consuming process, generating around ten emails to process each month, multiple checks and re-entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three years ago, the parent company, Groupama Centre Manche, decided to<strong>equipping your vehicles with a connected solution<\/strong>After observing the deployment on Groupama&#039;s side, the subsidiary in turn chose to adopt SoFLEET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective was to automate mileage tracking, have reliable mileage reporting per vehicle, and eliminate expense reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About SOS Activeille<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A subsidiary of Groupama Centre Manche, SOS Activeille is established in 8 departments (27, 76, 50, 14, 61, 28, 72, 53).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has 18 employees distributed among:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>6 technicians,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 sales representatives,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 operational manager<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 technical manager,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>as well as an administrative team,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It supports 1,300 clients in remote assistance and 5,000 sites in alarm and video surveillance, for an annual turnover of approximately 3.2 million euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The alarms are connected to remote monitoring centers open 24\/7. Depending on the contracts, intervention is triggered either via contacts designated by the client, or via a subcontractor (security guard or security company).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A fleet essential to the business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With a fleet of<strong> 11 vehicles on long-term rental<\/strong> With six utility vehicles and commercial vehicles spread across several departments, it is essential to save teams time so they can focus on their added value. Since the vehicles are not shared, each employee is responsible for their own vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a profession linked to alarm systems and property security, responsiveness is essential. Travel is at the heart of the business model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation of the connected solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A majority of vehicles are connected as standard equipment, i.e. via data from the manufacturer Renault with whom SoFLEET has partnership agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofleet.eu\/en\/your-needs\/geolocation\/\">geolocation <\/a>While technically possible, vehicle location tracking is not activated for the SOS Activeille fleet. The commitment made to employees is clear: no location tracking, only mileage tracking. However, vehicle location can be activated on an ad-hoc basis in critical situations such as theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alerts have also been set up for specific time periods of use. Each employee is responsible for monitoring their own car. Eco-driving data is reviewed periodically.
