The end of manual mileage readings

The alarms are connected to remote monitoring centers open 24/7. Depending on the contracts, intervention is triggered either via contacts designated by the client, or via a subcontractor (security guard or security company).

Implementation of the connected solution
A majority of vehicles are connected as standard equipment, i.e. via data from the manufacturer Renault with whom SoFLEET has partnership agreements.

The commitment made to employees is clear: no location tracking, only mileage tracking. However, vehicle location can be activated on an ad-hoc basis in critical situations such as theft.
Alerts have also been set up for specific time periods of use. When a vehicle is driven outside of these times, a notification is sent to ensure that private mileage is billed correctly.

The overall volume of business kilometers remains stable, but some discrepancies related to private uses seem to have naturally regulated themselves thanks to the clear distinction between professional and personal journeys.

The most frequently consulted indicator remains mileage. maintenance alerts are managed directly on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis. Each employee is responsible for monitoring their own car. Eco-driving data is reviewed periodically. The idea of challenging teams on this topic could be considered in the future.
